Dorothy L. Starr, 93 formerly of Chandlersville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at her daughter's residence.
Dorothy was born May 21, 1930, in Cumberland to the late Harry and Margaret (Moore) Huhn. Dorothy loved sewing and crocheting. She also enjoyed solving word puzzles.
She is survived by her children Jeffrey Starr, Randall (Tammy Woerner)Starr, Mary Alice (Gary) Shields, Mark Starr, Steven (Shelly) Starr, Scott (Beth) Starr; her seven grandchildren Carrie Jones, Cheri Puckett, Jennifer Starr, Travis Starr, Caley Starr, Chelsea Starr, and Shannon Jenkins; her ten great-grandchildren James and Jourdan Jones, Victoria Jones, Abigail Jones, Cadence Puckett, Kendyl Puckett, Jonathan Hilliard, Whitney Jenkins, Evan Woerner, and Ava Woerner; her seven great-great-grandchildren Hadley, Brynlee, Mattilyn, Langston, Vincent, Hazel, and Karsten; her brother Dana Huhn; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Along with her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years William Paul Starr; her siblings Mary Alice Huhn, Robert Huhn, Ralph Huhn, Jesse Huhn, Dale Huhn, John Huhn;
A visitation will be held at Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2024. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with Reverend Eddie Warne officiating. Dorothy will be laid to rest by her husband in Chandlersville Cemetery.
