Dorothy "Dot" Cole Strawbridge, age 91, of Buford, Georgia, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025. Dot grew up in Vernon, Alabama, the daughter of the late, Daniel Collier Cole and Fannie Lou (Rector) Cole. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, the late Robert "Bob" G. Strawbridge, for 62 years. Dot and Bob owned and operated Tire Warehouse, Inc. in Pine Bluff, Arkansas for over 30 years. She was a member of Rison Church of Christ in Arkansas and more recently Buford Church of Christ, in Buford, Georgia. Dot loved her Arkansas Razorbacks- she was a member and long-time officer of the Razorback Road Hogs and traveled all over the country to watch their games. She loved the Atlanta Braves (almost as much as her mother did!), she loved all things glittery and sparkly, and she loved her family and friends with her whole heart. If Dot met you one time, or if you were a neighbor, business acquaintance, or went to church with her, she considered you family.
Dot is survived by two daughters, Carol Strawbridge Marsh (Ron Marsh) of Jonesboro, AR and Michelle Strawbridge Budd (Fenton Budd) of Suwanee, GA; one son, Robert Cole Strawbridge, of St. Louis, MO; a brother, Wayne Cole of Morris, AL; three grandsons, Ronnie Marsh, Nicholas Marsh, and Stephen Marsh (Tami Marsh); one great granddaughter, Ali Marsh; three nephews, David Strawbridge (Merry Strawbridge) and their 2 children and grand children, Reed Cole (Michelle Cole), and David Cole (Karen Cole) and their son; and several cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family.

Mom was the best mom a girl could ever have. She did everything with her whole heart. She was brave in every way. I saw her cross under a bridge with her Girl Scouts She would not let them go alone. It was not her idea but when she looked up and saw the girls going under the bridge she knew she had to go along. That was the kind of mom I grew up with. An amazing and kind woman who believed that you could do anything you set your mind to. Love you mom.
