Dorothy Elaine Teggerdine

TEGGERDINE, Dorothy Elaine - age 88, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor John Vannest officiating. Interment will follow in Tyrone Memory Gardens Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton.
Elaine was born January 2, 1935 in Deerfield Township, the daughter of Edward and Agnes (Benoit) Green. She was a 1952 graduate of Hartland High School. Elaine married the love of her life, Donald Lee Teggerdine on November 21, 1953 in Fenton. When Donald was in the U.S. Army, she joined him at Ft. Hood, TX where she worked at the Base and Post Exchange. After the Army she enjoyed being a homemaker and helping on the family farm. Elaine was a member of the Tyrone Historical Society and a lifelong member of T.O.P.S. She was an avid collector of bears. Elaine also loved her many cats through the years.
Surviving are: her daughter, Julie Teggerdine; son, Jeffrey Teggerdine; grandchildren, Katie (Brent) Wentworth, Ashley (Dave) DeForest, Joshua Teggerdine, Nicholas Teggerdine; great grandchildren, Colin, Mason, Jacob, Jolene, Ezra; and several nieces and nephews.
