Dorothy Louise True (nee Perrin), 96, of Fort Thomas, passed away on August 18,
2024 at Highlandspring Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
She was born on October 6, 1927 in Berry, Kentucky to Mac & Stella Mae (Million) Perrin.
Dorothy and her husband of 79 years Joe, lived in Northern Kentucky for most of their married life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring. Always active in her churches, she loved the Lord with all of her being. Dorothy helped support her family through her career as a waitress, primarily at McAlpins Tea Room.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Tony True and her siblings Robert, Guy, Mac, Herbert, Harold, Ben, Paul, Carlos, Jack, Margie, Ruby, Ruth and Patty.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Joseph True, daughter Barbara ((late Joe)) Werdman, son Gary (Beverly) True, daughter Patti (Tom) McGill, son Craig (Thea) True, son Kevin (Michelle) True, son, David ( Heather) True, daughter, Sherri (late Greg) Rose, son in law Joe Devney, sister Ann Foster, 18 Grandchildren,, 24 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, August 23, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring. Service will follow at 12:00 pm.
Burial will take place in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring 4410 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, KY 41076.
