Perry Rook Glenn

Perry Rook Glenn passed away on March 10, 2026 at his home in Chattanooga, TN. He was born June 29, 1944, in Wichita, Kansas.

He is survived by his son, Justin Glenn of Wellington, FL; his brothers: Philip (Randye) Glenn of Panama City Beach, FL, Patrick (Sally) Glenn of Oklahoma City, OK, Peter Glenn of Oklahoma City, OK; his sister, Priscilla Pressley of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren: Wesley Glenn of Washington, DC and Claire Glenn of Ft. Thomas, KY, and Reilly and Grady Weber of Raleigh, NC; along with many beloved nieces, nephews and other family who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, O.C. Glenn, Jr.; his mother, Maree Glenn; and daughter, Robin Weber Cole.

Perry graduated Harding High School in Oklahoma City in 1962 and later joined the United States Navy serving in the Pacific during the Vietnam war. After leaving the Navy, he attended the University of Oklahoma and went on to a career in sales in Oklahoma City, OK and Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX for many years.

Perry had a deep love of automobiles and motorcycles. He loved riding motorcycles in the beautiful Tennessee hills and developed many friendships in the community after moving to Chattanooga, TN in 1998 to be near his son and his family. In his retirement years, he warmly greeted all who entered the Tallan building downtown. Perry was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church in Chattanooga where he served as a greeter.

Perry will be fondly remembered for his infectious smile, larger than life spirit, and his kind heart that will live on in all that knew him.
