It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorothy Villarreal, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who departed this world peacefully at the age of 93 on March 22, 2026. Born on November 28, 1932, Dorothy lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering strength, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Mary Ellen Villarreal, Grandson Simon Villarreal, Granddaughter Crystal Lopez, Nephew Robert Salinas, Niece Terri Salinas, great grandson Derrick Villarreal, and great granddaughter Ruby Villarreal.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Pilar Salinas, Her son Ruben Villarreal, and Brother Pete Salinas.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of compassion and resilience will forever remain in our hearts. Dorothy Villarreal will be remembered not just for the years of her life, but for the life in her years.
