Dorothy May Welch, 83, of Pershing, Oklahoma, went home to be with The Lord on September 1, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1942, in Granite, Oklahoma. On August 22, 1956, Dorothy married the love of her life, William Welch. Together they created a big, beautiful family, which Dorothy was the heart of. She was a constant source of love and strength for her children, grandchildren, and anyone who knew her. She is survived by her children Billy, Melba, Ronnie and wife Shelley, and is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, daughter Connie and siblings Troy, Maudie, and Geraldine. Dorothy's legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren-Billy Hunt and wife Doris, Shasta Reed and husband John, Tanya Taylor and husband Eddy, Jessica Welch, Michael Conner, Miranda Conner, Kara Clem, Ashley Clem, Donielle Hobson and husband Trey, Kyle Welch, Mallory Welch, and Lacey Welch. She was blessed with 33 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 6th, at 10:00 a.m. at Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Barnsdall, Oklahoma.
