Dorothy J. Wolfe

Dorothy J. "Dot" Wolfe went to her heavenly home on June 10, 2023.
She was born in Runnemede, NJ, graduated from Audubon High School and remained in the South Jersey area her entire life.
She married the love of her life, (late) Edwin S. Wolfe and settled in Oaklyn, NJ to raise her three daughters. She made a career in the bridal gown business at Seventh Heaven gowns for over 30 years.
Her favorite times were with her family and siblings. She enjoyed every year at the Jersey shore, especially Stone Harbor, and traveled to Texas to see family. Much of her free time had been spent at sports games, concerts, and plays for her grandchildren. She loved listening to music, particularly George Beverly Shea, Kenny Rogers, and the Sound of Music.
She accepted Christ as her Savior at Mt. Calvary Church as a young girl, and her faith remained the center of her life. She was a member of the Blackwood Chapter of Eastern Star for over 50 years.
She was a devoted mother to her daughters Carol Maloney (late Bill), Peggy Whitehead (John, Jr.), Nancy Underwood (Paul), loving grandmother to Eric Maloney, Tara Maguire, John Whitehead III, Stephen Whitehead, Andrew Whitehead, Kevin Whitehead, Madison Underwood, Austin Underwood and 13 great grandchildren. A caring sister to Robert Jones (Shirley), Gloria Alminde, predeceased Mildred Patterson, Charles Jones, Thomas William Jones. Also survived by sisters-in-law Pat Wolfe and Louise Jones and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing from 10am to 11am on Tuesday, June 20, 20 23 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. A memorial service will begin at 11am. Internment immediately following service at LAKEVIEW MEMORIAL PARK, CINNAMINSON.
