Dorothy May Wolfe, 96, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 22, 2023. She was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Hazel Miller. She retired from Anne Arundel Public School system after many years of service. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting with the grandchildren, camping, sewing and quilting.
Dorothy is survived by her devoted husband of 76 years, Ned Wolfe; loving children, Penny Brock (Keller), Wendy Lichtenberg (Jerry) and Douglas Wolfe; cherished grandchildren, Kenny Eckenrode, Shane Eckenrode (Sharie), Matthew Lichtenberg (Lauren), Ryan Lichtenberg and Jared Lichtenberg; and her adored great-grandchildren, Molly and Huntley. She will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, Dec. 3rd, from 4 - 7 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
