Dorothy I. Yoder, 100, of Mulberry, formerly of Flora, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at Mulberry Health and Retirement. She was born in Carroll County on October 6, 1924, to Royce and Lola (Clingenpeel) Myer. She married Morris Yoder on July 16, 1961. He preceded her in passing in 2011.
Dorothy was a 1942 graduate of Flora High School. She worked for several years at the telephone office in Flora. But her pride and true love was taking care of her family. She and her husband had a home that was welcoming and open to all that came to the door. She was a member of Flora Presbyterian Church and Psi Iota Xi Sorority. She loved working jigsaw puzzles and cooking. She loved her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Lois Vogel; three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in passing by her husband; parents; a son, Dale Yoder; a brother, Kenneth Myer
A private family gathering will be held. She will be laid to rest at Maple Lawn Cemetery. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Reinke Chapel in Flora is assisting with the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
