My sympathy to Doug's wife and children and all his extended family. He had an impact on his fellow Knights at St. Francis de Sales, Class of '67, who still hold great memories of our years together.

Doug was a good friend and teammate and all-around fun guy at St. Francis. I remember when we tried to hide from "Ratch" during the two a day football practices in mid-August. Doug would imitate coach Mattingly's slang and swagger and the guys would "crack up".
Doug will be missed but never forgotten!

Sad news. I have great memories of Doug, growing up four doors down the street from him. We played lots of sports together at Blessed Sacrament grade school. He could run like the wind, Jump like a kangaroo, and was as strong as an ox. He was a great teammate and at great friend. He was always smiling.
