Douglas (Dougie) Becker

Douglas (Dougie) Edward Becker, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 13, 2023. He was only 33 years old. His family and friends are deeply saddened by his sudden death. Dougie was born on May 16, 1989, to Alonzo Stanley Chambers and the late Pamela Marie Becker. 

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at the chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.  The family will visit with friends from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM.

Dougie loved the outdoors and the adventures that came with it; from hiking to swimming to exploring.  He was a connoisseur of food; everything from preparing and cooking/grilling to eating the food.  Music was a passion of his.  He played the bass and the drums, and his brother (Alonzo) and Dougie were a part of a band for several years “Lucid Dimension.” 

Dougie is survived by his father; his brother, Alonzo Chambers; his sister, Theresa (August Buddy) Gregory; uncle, Edward (Dawn) Becker; aunt, Allison (Eric) Moses; nephew, August Gregory; cousins, Mark Moses, Sara Moses, and Tristan Becker; his chosen brothers, Quentin Marshall, Jeffery Marshall, Keith Irvin, and Sterling White.
