Douglas Floyd Braidlow

Douglas Floyd Braidlow, 66, of Rolla, Missouri, passed away at his home on May 31, 2025.
Born on May 10, 1959, Douglas was a proud native of Missouri and a man who truly loved the outdoors. Whether it was hunting, fishing, or riding his four-wheeler through the woods, Doug found his peace in nature. He especially enjoyed days spent down at the river, where the simple pleasures of the water and wilderness brought him joy.
Douglas was known for his skillful hands and generous heart. He loved building and creating things, often making items for himself and those around him. His creativity and willingness to help made him a valued friend and neighbor.
Family meant everything to Doug. He is survived by his father, Loyde Braidlow Sr.; his son, Tony Braidlow; his brother, Loyde Braidlow Jr. and wife Pam; his sister, Brenda Braidlow; and his special friend, Melissa Callen. He was a beloved uncle to Loyde Braidlow III, Damon Braidlow, Brittany Sneed, and Kelly Nisbett, and was cherished by numerous other friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Braidlow.
A loyal and devoted companion to his dogs, Doug shared a bond with his animals that reflected his kind and steady spirit. His easygoing nature, big heart, and love for the simple things in life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation for Family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 4th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 5th at 1:00 P.M., with interment to follow at the Annutt Cemetery, Annutt, Missouri.
