Douglas Lee Brower III born October 3, 1995, to Deborah (Johnson) Patterson & Douglas Lee Brower Jr. passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was extremely close to his Grandfather (arguably best friends), self-proclaimed mama's boy, amazing brother, fiercely protective uncle, and extremely loyal friend to many. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends by sharing his love of cars & nature as well as playing pool and gaming.
His infectious smile, humor, and selflessness were amongst his best attributes. Doug was the without question the guy who would give when he himself was struggling. He found the light and a way to bring joy to those around him no matter the situation. He will be greatly missed by many.
Those left to cherish his memory are his Grandfather Robert Johnson, Mother Deborah Patterson, Uncle Jon Johnson, Aunt Sara Valentine. Sisters, Angela Leonetti, Rochelle Patterson & Jacqueline Brower. Cousins Nick, Luke, Katie Johnson; William, Marc, Louis IV Schneider, Mari Jo (Jeff) Starns. Brothers Salmin (Samanth) Tutic, Christopher McGinnis, Kamren Stephens, Trevor Bissle. Aunt Norma Jean Colburn, Christy Kuhns, Niece Bailey Leonetti, Nephews Brandon Leonetti, Jaydee & Jon Hyde, Great Niece Anna Leah Leonetti, and many friends.
Those that preceded Douglas in death were his Grandfather Douglas Lee Brower Sr. Father Douglas Lee Brower Jr. Great-Grandparents Wayne and Kathryn (Koko) Colburn and Ernie and Sarah Wilson, his maternal Grandmother Jennifer Johnson, Great Uncle Gene Colburn, Great Aunt Cheryl Kamneyer, Uncle Lloyd Kamneyer, and Cousins Aaron & Marcus Colburn, Uncle Rick Johnson.
Services for Douglas will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Polk City, IA at 11 AM on Saturday, January 15, 2022, with a luncheon to follow.
