Douglas Cashell has gone to be with the Lord. Doug was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Hyattsville, Maryland.
Doug graduated from Frostburg State College and went on to teach high school social studies in Prince George county, Maryland. He later earned his master's degree from Penn State. Doug served our nation in the Vietnam as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army from 1970-1971.
Doug worked for 30 years in industrial sales for various firms. Doug's favorite activities were watching golf tournaments and watching the Washington Nationals play baseball. You could always find him playing a round of golf or picking his guitar, playing bluegrass music.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann; sister Lois; daughter Kelly, from a former marriage; and three grandchildren.
