Douglas Cobb Obituary

Douglas Charles Cobb, son of the late William L. and Burnese Cobb, owners of Tasty Bake Shop, passed away on December 10, 2021. He was born in Columbia, SC on October 8, 1945 and graduated from University High School where he played basketball.
After high school, he worked at Tasty Bake Shop and later for Eckerd's, Rite-Aid Drug and Walgreen's Drug Stores. He was a Mason and a member of the Jamil Temple Shriners.
Doug was predeceased by an older brother, William A. Cobb. Survivors include his brother David H. Cobb (Martha) and a sister, Elizabeth C. Geiger. In addition, there are many nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private service.
South Carolina Cremation Society is assisting the family. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.southcarolinacremation.com
