Obituary of Douglas A. Daniels Sr.

Douglas A. Daniels Sr., 67, of Bridgeport passed away Friday August 8, 2024 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. Douglas was born May 28, 1958 in Seattle, Washington to the late Walter E. "Skip" and Patricia Ann Eisaman Daniels.

Doug was a graduate of Southmoreland High School class of 1977. He drove truck for numerous companies in the area for over 38 years and was a member of Bridgesport Sportmans Club. Doug enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren, and especially attending any sporting events or activities his grandchildren were involved in. Doug loved his family, and would absolutely drop anything he was doing to help them in any way.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sandra "Suzi" Daniels; his children, Jamie Daniels (James), Douglas Daniels Jr. (Ashleigh), Keith Daniels (Whitney), and Cody Daniels (Bobbiesue); his grandchildren, Camden, Emmie, Maddison, Cody, and Isabelle Daniels; his siblings, Greg Daniels (Chrissy), and Melissa Daniels Zierski (Mike); and by his niece and nephews, Mikayla John's (Jeff) and family, Tyler Daniels and family, and Trevor Lilja.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant. A Memorial Dinner will immediately follow at Bridgesports Sportsmans Club, 265 Hammondville St., Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
