Douglas Joseph DiFlorio 82, of Camillus, went home to be in the presence of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse to the late Guy and Carmella DiFlorio in 1942. He graduated from a five-year Plumber Apprenticeship Training Program through the Plumbers Local 267. He worked as a Plumber and later worked 27 years and Retired from Anheuser - Busch. He enjoyed going to the movies and spending time with his adult children, Kenneth, Kevin and Michele. He had a special relationship spending time with his nephew, Danny junior. He also adored his grandkids and great grand-kids. Dad loved bowling and was on leagues for years. He won a ring for a 300 point game. He also loved his old cars and especially his Corvettes. Doug was predeceased by his sister, Cecilia Despirito, brother, David DiFlorio, sister Gail Tarolli and sister-in-law Donna. He is survived by his children, Kenneth (late wife Rene'), Kevin and Michele (David) Hurchla, grandkids Kelly, Matthew and Brianna, great-grandkids Brennen, Gavin and brothers Daniel (Francesca) and Dennis (Gina). There will be a Private Entombment in the Mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse, NY. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay has care of arrangements.
