Doug, or Opa, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, enjoyed fishing, tending to his garden, watching old Westerns & listening to country music. He was a true Christian man who loved his Lord & Savior. A huge part of his life was Georgia sports teams, including the Atlanta Falcons, Braves & his beloved Georgia Bulldawgs. Who he proudly got to see win three National Championships.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, family and precious grand & great grandchildren.
