An amazing man. A man who saw the big picture, having experienced the ins and outs of government, society, church, and vocal music. A great teacher, adviser, conversationalist. With a hearty laugh. With his zest for life. With being a dedicated husband, father, friend, fellow disciple in Christ. By his charisma and charm, Doug commanded respect wherever he went. He left me with many good memories in our talks and our singing. I can see the saints gathering around him and laughing. Even Jesus himself.
