Doug was a soulful, unique and kind man. I will always remember that he and Scottie's camp site was the place to be for entertainment and friendship. He had such an amazing voice as he and Scottie hosted karaoke for many years. These are memories that we all will remember. Doug, we love you and will miss you. Ken and Scott

Doug was a genuine, kind friend. Of all the fond memories I have of Doug, my two favorites are of him sitting on his deck listening to his Victrola and of him and Scottie crooning as a duet to Bette Midler´s Slow Boat to China. Definitely gone too soon, but I´m blessed for the opportunity to have known him as a friend.
