Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Eddie was the youngest son of five boys from George and Virginia Spears. He worked at his family's business Superior Aluminum for most of his life and was a very talented mechanic.
In his leisure time, Eddie loved to watch the Washington Nationals and Capitals and fish with his son Stephen and his wife Lisa. He cherished the moments in life when he saw his three sons playing little league baseball and football.
Eddie is survived by his mother Virginia, his two brothers, Darren and Danny, his wife Lisa, his sons Stephen, Bradley, and Gregory, his six grandchildren, Arwen, George, Charlotte, Lilith, Thomas, and Luka, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
