Douglas Mathew Troester, son of Ron and Lois Troester, died at the age of 61, on March 31, 2025 of Cardiac Arrest, Hypertension, and Heart Failure.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Troester, his daughter (Lauren St. Jacques), son (Kyle Troester), and four step-daughters (Sunshine, Angel, Sky & Ariel). He is also survived by five grandsons (Noah, Lincoln, Sawyer, Anthony, Baylor).
Doug was born in Midvale, UT on August 29, 1963. He grew up with two brothers (Scott & Mike) and attended Hill Crest High School. Doug served in the United States Marine Corps as a Helicopter Structures Mechanic, worked for Northrop as Mechanic in the Stealth
Bomber Program and later in life worked as a High-Voltage Power Lineman. When not at work you could find Doug tinkering in the garage on his Corvette or one of four motorcycles. As of late, he found a lot of joy in boating, fishing and building homemade cannons with and for his Grandsons.
Doug will be greatly missed. Services will take place on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Rubidoux Mortuary (6091 Mission Blvd, Riverside 92509) at 10am-11:30am (viewing) & 11:30am- 12:30pm (service), followed by Veteran Service at the National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren
Blvd, Riverside 92518) at 2pm, where he will be laid to rest.
