Douglas Wesener, 68, of Beaverton, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland. He was born on June 5, 1953, the son of Lloyd and Joan Wesener in Flint. He was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country from 1971-1973. Doug worked for Michigan Bell as a lineman for over 30 years until his retirement. He has spent the past 17 years living with his companion Melissa Yager. Together they shared many wonderful memories. Doug was an avid woodworker and loved his Harley. He made many cross country trips and was always looking forward to long bike rides. He was a member of the Gladwin Eagles 3292.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Matthew Wesener and Mark Wesener; companion: Melissa Yager; siblings: Deborah (Mitch) Jekel, Dale (Teri) Wesener, and Darryl (Deborah) Wesener; several nieces and nephews; and his children's mother: Patricia Wesener.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Gladwin Eagles 3292 with Military Honors. A luncheon and time of gathering will follow. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
