Douglas Colin Wiseman, "Doug"
March 25,1971 - July 7, 2025
Douglas Colin Wiseman, known to friends and family as "Doug", passed away Monday, July 7,2025, at the age of 54 in Jacksonville, Florida. Doug was born on March 25,1971, in Maryland to his mother Sharon Ruer, and father, Erik Wiseman.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sharon, and his cherished grandparents Loel and Boots, whom he loved dearly.
Doug is survived by his children, Erika and Mark; father Erik; step father Harry; sister Paula; nephew Jake; and brother-in-law Ray.
Doug was of a deep and unwavering faith that carried him through all of life's triumphs and tribulations. As he now takes this final journey into the house of the Lord, we find comfort in the words of Psalms 23:1-6:
Psalm 23
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Doug will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. His memory will live forever in our hearts.
