Jon "Kevin" Baker, 61, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. Born on September 25, 1963, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Kevin lived a life defined by dedication to his family, his work, and his country.

Kevin graduated in 1982 from Beavercreek High School in Beavercreek, Ohio. Shortly after, he honorably served in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, Kevin pursued his love of the outdoors and founded Baker Tree Service where he worked as an arborist and business owner..

He is survived by his son, Kyle Baker (Julia LeBlanc) of Sweeny, Texas; daughter, Whitney (Tyler) Carpenter of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; mother, Jerry Ann Baker; sister, Keeley (Rich) Harding of Beavercreek, Ohio; three nieces and two nephews; and three great-nieces and four great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Harold ("Bo") Baker, and his brothers, William Bremen ("Bree") Baker and Jeffrey ("Jeff") Craig Baker.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Kevin's compassionate caregivers (Matt, Naomi, and Greg) as well as the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and Hospice for their support, especially during his final days.

May Kevin's memory bring comfort to all who knew him and stand as a tribute to a life well lived, a heart well loved, and a legacy that will endure.
