Doyce Wade Obituary
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 16, 2025, 11 AM to 1 PM at Mt. Zion Church of Christ. Funeral services will follow with Larry Waymire and Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will be followed in the church cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is honored to assist the family.
Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Smith Wade; son, Keith Wade; parents, Ralph Eugene and Ruby Eula Cooper Wade; brothers, Tony Wade and Bobby Wade; great-grandchildren, Willis Myrick, Georgia Rae Wade, and Grayson DeVito.
He is survived by his children, Mike Wade and Cheryl Wade Walker (David); ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Hendrix.
Pallbearers will be Blake Brewer, Landin Brewer, Dawson Cherry, Dustin Wade, Bentley Wade, and Ryan Walker.

Like his earthly father, Gene, Doyce was gentle and kind, a diligent worker, honest, dependable, and one of the best people one could know. He was quiet, unassuming, but devoted to his family and to God. Always ready to help, to encourage, to be a friend to everyone. His example is a powerful testimony to his family and to all who knew him. It was my honor to be in his home many times, to know him, and to be positively influenced by him. May his legacy live on in the lives of all who knew him.
