Doyle Martin Obituary
Doyle was born in Bimble, Kentucky on October 16, 1952 to the late Luther and Shirley (Wilson) Martin. He passed away at his residence on November 11, 2022, while surrounded by his loving family.
Doyle proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was a truck driver with E.H. Hamilton for 26 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, Ohio State University football, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, bird watching and yard work. Most important was the time he spent with his family, especially spoiling his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Patricia (Nate) Glover, Jesse R. Martin, Amanda Martin and James (Missy) Martin; brothers and sisters, Ralph French, Ronald (Gale) Martin, Randall Martin, Linda (Dick) Barker, Darlene (Wayne) Childress and Hjalma (Don) Travis; grandchildren, Josh (Danie), Ashley, Luke (Rachel), Nick, Dylan, Bradley, Andrew, Caleb and Farrah; great grandchildren, Haylee, Holton, Michael and Oakleigh; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia Martin.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Doyle to Hospice of Central Ohio or to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
