Doyle H. Marx

Doyle Hubert Marx of Waukesha, formerly of Crivitz passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at the age of 86. He was born in Ontario, WI on February 27, 1937, the son of Clarence and Nellie (nee Frye) Marx. On September 9, 1961, he married Joanne (Southard) Marx; she preceded him in death on October 1, 2021. Together they spent many happy years living in Crivitz. Doyle loved nature, being outdoors, hunting and fishing and was a huge Green Bay Packer fan.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Kenneth (Carrie) Marx of Waukesha and Debbie (Brian) Sodergren of Stephenson, MI; daughter-in-law Wanda Marx; his grandchildren, Heather (Andy) Hauke, Derek Bentley, Charity (Chad) Metz, Gage Sodergren, Calli Sodergren, Kaela Marx, Jonathan Marx and 4 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Marcella (the late Phillip) Genske, Dick (Margaret) Marx, Barbara (the late Jerald) Zimmerman, David (Debra) Marx and Jim (Sheila) Marx; sister-in-law Bonnie Marx, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Joanne, and his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Scott Marx; sisters Marjorie (Edward) Burns and Margaret (Hunter) Falls and brother Robert Marx.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
