Doyle Dean Wright departed this life on November 7, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on December 28, 1957, in Bruce, Mississippi, Doyle was a beloved father, brother, and friend.
Doyle was a dedicated individual, having worked as a self-employed welder. He took pride in his craft and poured his heart into every project. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a testament to his commitment to serving his country.
A member of Sherman Baptist Church, Doyle found solace and community in his faith. He cherished the great outdoors, enjoying countless hours hunting and exploring nature. He had a special passion for cooking-often delighting family and friends with his culinary skills,and was known for his love of dogs, who brought him endless joy and companionship.
Doyle is survived by his daughter SaDeana Wright; son Justin Stepp; stepdaughter Morgan Vickery; sister Doris Tubbs; and his two beloved grandchildren. He will be profoundly missed by his family and all who knew him.
A visitation for Doyle will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home on November 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will immediately follow in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 PM with Bro. Craig McCormick and Bro. Johnny Holderman officiating. Doyle will be laid to rest at Concord Cemetery in Bruce, Mississippi, following the ceremony.
Serving as pallbearers are Chad Massey, Danny Massey, Joe Cowsert, Jan Shelton, and Chris Ritchie.
Doyle was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Louise Wright; father Doyle Dero Wright; and mother Hazel Howell Wright.
