Dozier Howard Obituary
Dozier Robson Howard, Sr., 72, of Decatur, passed away at his home on June 19, 2025. He was born at Emory Hospital in Decatur, Georgia, on February 11, 1953, the son of Caroline Hill Ridley Howard and Pierre du Vinage Howard Sr.
He was a lifelong Decatur, GA, resident. Graduated from Decatur High School and The University of Georgia. He worked in construction and land appraisal with Weibel and associates. Dozier was loved by many, especially his family.
Family and friends will gather from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, Georgia 30033. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory.
