Brian Dale Fisher, 50, of Dickens, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was born on May 31, 1973, in Sibley, Iowa to Dale and Carol (Lamont) Fisher. He was a cherished son and devoted big brother to Scott and Kristen.

Brian grew up on an acreage north of Greenville and graduated from Spencer High School in 1992. Throughout his early life he was an active member in 4-H which he continued into his freshman year of college and attended the National 4-H Congress. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where he was confirmed in May 1988. He enjoyed spending his summers working with the landscape crew at Del’s Garden Center making lifelong friendships. He attended Buena Vista College to run track and cross country before transferring to Iowa State University his sophomore year. During his senior year, he felt called to help people by becoming a chiropractor and began his studies at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated February 25, 2000, with his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Chiropractic. After graduating, he returned to Spencer and established Fisher Family Chiropractic in November 2000. He thoroughly enjoyed caring for members of the community who often became dear friends.

While in Sunday School and 4-H, Brian met Kristi Harves. After three years of dating, the two married on July 29, 1995, at Grace United Methodist Church. Their partnership in life was a source of strength and joy. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless memories that will be treasured by all who had the honor of being part of their lives.

As a father, Brian was unparalleled. He leaves behind his loving children, Nate, Elisa, Brenna, and Lucas, who were the center of his universe. While they were growing up, he taught Sunday School, coached summer softball, officiated over a decade of swim meets, and co-led the Sioux Achievers 4-H Club for 11 years and assisted the Spencer Inventors Robotics 4-H Club. He shared his passion of running with his children and became a devoted cross country and track dad with his trusty stopwatch. He was known to amaze spectators with his ability to French braid his daughters’ hair prior to every meet. He took great pride in his ability to provide the critical, daily medical care necessary to keep Nate thriving and hospital free. As an avid Cyclone fan, he is immensely proud of children’s love for exploring campus and attending Iowa State University. His lessons, wisdom, and love will forever be cherished and carried forward by those who had the privilege of calling him Dad.
