Dr. Devidson Desravine

Doctor Devidson Desravine was born on March 25, 1962, in Jean-Rabel, in Haiti’s Nord Department. He completed his primary education in Jean-Rabel and his secondary studies in Port-de-Paix and Pétionville. From an early age, he was known for his discipline, seriousness, and strong sense of responsibility.

1987, he began his medical studies at the Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie (Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy) in Port-au-Prince and later specialized in surgery, becoming a skilled and respected surgeon.

In 1997, he was appointed Director of the Jean-Rabel Hospital. He later served as a surgeon in Pignon and with Médecins Sans Frontières. In 2001, he built a private clinic in Jean-Rabel to provide accessible healthcare to his community.

Throughout his career, he faithfully served his community as a surgeon at Hôpital Français, Diquini Hospital, and Hôpital Général de Port-au-Prince, and as a professor at Université d’État d’Haïti and Université Lumière.

Loving, generous, hardworking, and deeply faithful, Doctor Desravine valued human life above all. He was a devoted father of five children.

On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Doctor Devidson Desravine was called home to be with the Lord.
