Dr. Elizabeth "Beth" M. Michalec, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away on March 20, 2026.
Beth was born James and Isabell Michalec on April 25 1954, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Throughout her life she also resided in Rhode Island and Florida where she started her journey as a lifelong learner. She had a deep love for education and proudly earned her PhD in Psychology. Beth’s intellectual curiosity and commitment to personal growth were central to who she was.
Music was another great passion in Beth’s life. She loved singing and found joy in playing the guitar and piano, as well as composing her own music. These creative outlets were a meaningful expression of her spirit.
Above all, Beth was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Michael Palumbo, who preceded her in death in 2012. Her love for Michael remained a defining part of her life.
Beth is survived by her siblings, Thomas (Monica) Michalec, Mike Michalec, and Nancy Ysebaert Mosely, all of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Palumbo; her parents, Isabelle and James Michalec; and her sister, Patricia Greene.
