Of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Born on May 12, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA son of the late George C. Schein, MD and Irene (Busch) Schein.  Beloved husband of the late Diana (Kline) Schein. Dear brother of Britta (Donald) McNemar and the late Pastor Bruce Schein. Brother-in-law of Jeffrey (Nancy) Kline, Cathy (Edward) Rainaldi, Robert “Sam” Kline, and Bonnie Kline. He is survived by many adoring nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Dear friend of Barbara Divosevic. Dr. Schein graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. A dedicated ear, nose and throat physician, Dr, Schein delighted in caring for generations of families, first in Mt. Washington and Whitehall and then for more than 30 years in Bethel Park, PA. He was a caring and compassionate physician, respected by his patients and medical colleagues. NO VISITATION. All are welcome to attend a Funeral Liturgy on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, 975 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh,15228. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church.
