Age 72, of Mt. Washington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Loving husband of the late Deborah (Foley) Vensel; beloved father of Rebecca Sopata (Daniel); cherished grandfather of Julian and Carter; brother of David Vensel (the late Doreen); son of the late Glenn and Helen Vensel; and brother-in-law of Judith Druga (Ronald) and Paul Foley. Services and interment will be held privately. Arrangements entrusted to WM. SLATER & SONS, INC., Mt. Washington, 412-381-3345. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741, www.cancer.org.
