It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Kellie Ann Cameron, age 61, who entered into eternal glory on Monday, January 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Kellie was born in Waterbury, CT on February 3, 1964 to Margaret “Peggy” (Perrier) Cameron and the late John Joseph Cameron Jr. and had been a longtime Southington resident.
Kellie graduated from Southington High School, Class of 1982. After high school, she participated in Teen Missions and traveled to Jamaica and Washington, D.C. Upon her return home, Kellie enrolled in the Moody Bible Institute and received her bachelor’s degree in Theology. Kellie had a lifelong passion for learning and education. She worked in the medical field for 23 years while pursuing her Master’s degree in Finance. Kellie then continued on to Grand Canyon University, where she earned her Doctorate of Education; Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration. She was also a licensed life coach and worked in the Southington School System as a substitute teacher.
Kellie was very talented and explored acting, writing screenplays and even wrote a book titled, “The Patient that Got Away,” that is an upcoming publication. She loved the beach and spending time with her very close-knit family. Above all else, Kellie dedicated her life to the Lord and spent every day devoting herself to serving the Lord.

In addition to her mother Peggy, Kellie is survived by her brothers, John J. Cameron III and his wife Trish of Wallingford and Christopher Cameron and his wife Madelene of New Britain, her sister and Goddaughter, Heidi Cameron of Southington, brother-in-law, Brian Dailey of E. Hartford and three nieces, Nicole Dailey, Ava Cameron and Sarah Cameron. She is also survived by her uncles, Roger Perrier and his wife Judy of Fort Worth, TX and Michael Perrier and his wife Marilyn of Waterbury, many cousins, dear friends and her beloved family dog, Bella Breeze, who provided unconditional love and comfort in the last chapter of her earthly life. In addition to her father John, Kellie was predeceased by her infant brother, Roger Michael; sister Michele Dailey and her cherished dog, Rocky.
Kellie’s family sincerely thanks the doctors and nurses at UConn John Dempsey Hospital ICU; Critical Care and Oncology for their kindness and excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kellie’s memory may be made to the Faith Baptist Church of Southington, PO Box 404, Southington, CT 06489.
Calling hours will be held from 9 – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Faith Baptist Church, 243 Laning St., Southington. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
