Dr. Peter Garcia, Ph.D Obituary
Dr. Peter Anthony Garcia, Ph.D., age 92, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Peter is preceded in death by his loving parents; Pedro Garcia and Otilia Roybal and his siblings; Leopoldo Garcia, William “Bill” Garcia and Delia Esparza. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years; Sylvia Rebecca Garcia; his dearest sons; Peter Robert Garcia (Pearl) and Michael Anthony Garcia; his sisters; Ernestine Stratton and Teresa Reed; and his granddaughter; Rhianna. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 04, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home- West with a Rosary to follow at 10:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 04, 2023 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
