Richard Komp Obituary
Richard Paul Komp, age 76, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 19, 2025, in El Paso, Texas. He was a He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and will be dearly missed. Richard is preceded in death by his parents: Robert Frances Komp and Ethel Komp, his siblings: Norma Carole Hughey, Janice Stone, and his beloved wife: Patricia Komp. He is survived by his children: Tony Komp, Staci (Michael) Komp, Jason Komp, Michael Shane Gabelhouse, David (Jenny) Komp, JJ Paul Komp, and Amanda Komp. His siblings are Robert Komp, Donna McNeely, and his five grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.
Pallbearers to include JJ Komp, Tony Komp, Jason Komp, Michael Gabelhouse, Josh McNeely, Shawn Hughey, Skyler Telles, and Nathaniel Telles.
A Visitation will be held from 8:30 am to 10:00 am on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Homes-West, followed by a Graveside service at 11:00 am at Memorial Pines, 3061 Memorial Pines Rd., Sunland Park, NM 88063.
Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
