Dr Ravi Veluri was born in Chiriwada. A graduate of Rangaraya Medical college, Kakinada. He specialized in pediatrics.
A loving husband, doting father, a brilliant physician above all a great humanitarian. All who met him recall his love of life, his boundless hospitality, his impromptu parties, his love of friends and family, his camaraderie, and his unbound enthusiasm. At ease in all environs he connected with and made friends for life. A patron of arts, his home was sanctuary to many visiting artists from India. He funded the school in his village and built a monumental temple that is a cultural center and a nature preserve.
We lost a shining beacon that touched thousands of lives. As we celebrate his life, we know that he lives in many hearts.
