Dr. William Michael “Doc Bill” Crouch, 69, of Burlington, NC passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 with his wife by his side.
Bill was born on August 3, 1952 to William M. Crouch & Kathleen O’Connell Crouch in Saint Louis, Missouri. Bill received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC. He continued his schooling at the UNC School of Dentistry and earned his degree in 1978. In 1979, he opened his practice in the town of Elon, NC, until his retirement in October 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Barbara Stallings Crouch; his twin brother, Dr. Robert Crouch and wife Jimee of Bessemer City, NC; sister, Peggy Liddle and husband, Jeff of Fort Mill, SC; brother, Dr. James Crouch and wife, Kathy of Metairie, LA; four nieces; one nephew; and nine great nieces and nephews.
Bill enjoyed life, family members and many friends. He was always there to brighten the lives of others with his sense of humor and grin. He loved gardening, cooking and was a connoisseur of fine red wine. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Minton Golf Group where he met so many wonderful friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, 2205 South Church Street, Burlington, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to AuthoraCare Collective, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
