Drew Brennen McCormick

Drew Brennen McCormick, age 21, Alma, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023. Drew was born January 15, 2002, in Alma the son of Tonya Williams and Craig McCormick. He graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 2020. Drew was currently working as a level 2 welder for Merrill Fab. He enjoyed skateboarding, hunting, fishing, being outdoors and loved time spent with family, especially with his siblings. Drew is survived by his mother Tonya Telfor, father Craig (Clarissa) McCormick, siblings Tayler, Coby, Keily, Neil, Edette, Nash, maternal grandmother Karen Williams, paternal grandparents Gary (Dixie) McCormick, Kathy (James) Gloden, great grandmother Alice Geselman and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Marilouise and Phil Raske. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 11 am at the Edgewood Church of God with Pastor David Perry officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Elm Hall Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gratiot County Mental Health, for suicide prevention. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma.
