It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our son Drew Alexander
Vaughn of Canton GA who passed away on September 14, 2024. Drew was born on
April 7 th , 1995. He was 29 years old.
Drew was loved by many and had the brightest smile for everyone he met. He loved his
family and enjoyed hanging out on Sundays to watch the Cleveland Browns. Drew was
an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer.
Drew graduated from Creekview High School in 2013. Drew owned his own business,
Reel Roofing & Construction in the Canton area.
Drew is survived by wife Jolene (Berthold) Vaughn and their two children Aiden and
Rhett, his parents Jim and Karen (Thomason) Vaughn, his brothers Matthew, Brennan,
Evan, and Aiden. Drew’s grandmothers Karen McGhee of Stow Ohio and Nancy
Thomason of Ravenna Ohio.
Drew is preceded in death by his grandfathers Russell Vaughn of Kent Ohio, Columbus
Sampson (Chris) McGhee of Hiram Ohio, and Terry Thomason of Mantua Ohio.
Family and friends are invited to New Life Church at 154 Lakeside Drive Canton GA
30115 to celebrate Drew’s life on Saturday, September 21 st . Visitation will be held from
11 am to 1 pm. Funeral Service immediately following.
A graveside burial service will be held at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery located
at 10655 East Cherokee Drive Canton GA 30115.
Following the burial, family and friends are invited to reconvene back at the church for a
meal and fellowship.
