I had the pleasure of photographing Katelynn for years for GA MileSplit. Our timing company, Fast Feet Timing, also had the honor of timing Katelynn at a few meets. She was always 2 minutes ahead of everyone else, she was literally unbeatable. I will forever admire her grit and sheer determination. She gave every race her all, and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by all!

Sweet child. I am 66 yrs old. Four years ago I had horrific anxiety and depression (situational with genetic disposition). I woke up EVERY morning for months with my first thought being "oh no, another day. Here we go again " and complete terror and hopelessness. I realized then why people with CHRONIC depression/anxiety choose to end it. It is unbearable, exhausting and frightening. I am lucky to not have this as a chronic issue. God bless and give strength to those who do and can make it. I am so sorry it took you. My prayers to you and your family.

This fun, motivated, extremely athletic, and super smart girl was my childhood friend. I have many memories of us playing together, laughing, dancing, singing, and showing off our talents when we were elementary school aged. I hadn't seen her in many years, but the thought that she suffered so greatly the years she was older pains me. I will be praying. <3

We never met, but I empathize with her story. Wishing peace to all who knew and loved this beautiful girl. Though your pain is just beginning, take comfort in knowing Katelynn´s pain is no more.
