Drew passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Saginaw, Michigan on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the age of 32. He was born on September 22, 1992 in Bay City, Michigan to Arthur Vaughn and Kimberly Martin. He was one class away from receiving his Bachelors degree in Construction Management. Drew worked at Bavarian Inn Lodge, Frankenmuth as an assistant to the Sous-Chef and also at the Bringer Inn as a cook. He was currently working for Trueline as a Fiber optic Engineer. He was a wonderful dad to his son, Atom and was loved by everyone. He was an avid gamer and recently got involved with martial arts. He was a member of the St. Charles Masonic Lodge #313.
Drew is survived by his son, Atom; nieces, Aaliyha and Miya; life partner, Mersadi Richardson; mother, Kimberly Vaughn (fiancé, Mike Allen); father, Arthur “Ed” Vaughn (fiancé, Lanette Gasta); brother, Brett Vaughn; grandmother, Roberta “Bobbie” Vaughn; grandparents, Wes and Judy Allen; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steven and Frances Erdody; grandfather, Arthur Vaughn Sr.; uncle, Timothy Vaughn and cousin, Nikolas Kulka.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions will be going towards his son Atom’s, college fund. Please make checks payable to Kimberly Vaughn.
