Drew Wright

1998 - 2025

Drew Haden Wright, age 27, passed away on 12/23/2025, leaving behind a world forever changed by his presence. Though his time here was far too short, the impact of his life will forever remain.

Born on December 6, 1998, in Modesto, Drew was known for being authentically himself, down-to-earth, and he carried a deep sense of responsibility for those he loved. He had a love for being outdoors, and he found great joy and peace when he was able to spend time sitting by the river, enjoying nature.

Drew was someone who showed up when it mattered and would do anything to help his family and others who needed him. He had big dreams, plans, and a future full of promise, and while we grieve all that will not be, we are immensely grateful for every moment that we spent with him.

Drew is survived by his parents, Courtney Wright (Stephanie), Lindsey McDowell (Jimmy), siblings, Ian Wright, Kaitlyn Ruiz, Maddie Wright, Cole McDowell, Conner McDowell, and Jimmy McDowell, Grandparents, Ron and Candy Wright and Larry and Sherry Bailey, Great Grandmothers, Mignon Wright and Ranell Bailey, as well as Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins.

Drew will always be with us, in the stories we tell, the lessons we learned from him, and the love that will never fade. Until we meet again...

Drew's Celebration of Life will be held on January 23, 2026 11:30 a.m., at The Well Community Fellowship Church at 2500 Claus Road, Modesto.
