Drusilla Kay Crockett

Drusilla Crockett, age 86, of Alvin, Texas, passed away on December 24, 2025, with her loving daughter, Chris and sister, Diane, by her side.

Drusilla was born on December 5, 1939, in Wharton, Texas, to her loving parents, Edna Rendon Massey and Charles Drue Massey.

Dru was a beloved mother, sister and friend. She worked early in her adult life for the Texas Department of Public Safety and in several other office jobs. Then she decided that being a mother and homemaker was her most important role.

Dru met and married the love of her life, George Crockett, and they purchased a large ranch property in a small town of Sheridan, Texas, where she loved all the animals on their ranch, especially a deer(Stormie) that she raised after the loss of its mother. After George passed, she moved to live closer to her sister and family.

Dru's burning passion was DANCING and she found joy in dancing every Tuesday in Pasadena, Texas, where she met some incredibly special friends. To those who knew her, she will be remembered for her elegance, intelligence, strength and devotion to family.

Preceded in death by parents, Edna and Drue Massey; husband, George Crockett; sister, Mary Jo Brooks; brothers, Gene Massey and Billy Massey; sister-in-law, Janet Massey(Billy); and stepdaughter, Susan Crockett Quintana.

She is survived by her son, Buck Frnka, daughter, Chris Weaver, sister, Diane Massey Shaw-Norris, brother-in-law, Millard Norris; stepchildren: Ken Crockett, Jr. (Linda) and Jean Shearer(Ron); grandchildren: Waylon Will Weaver, Jessica Malpass (John), Tana Weaver and Jenny Giardina (Jason); great grands: Sidney Weaver, Madison Malpass, Piper Malpass, Waverly Weaver, Waylon Weaver, Roman Browning and Gianna Browning. Dru had many nieces, nephews and cousins who she dearly loved.

Special thanks to her nephew, Shannon Shaw, his wife Karri and son, Lane Shaw for helping during her last days.

We will all carry her memory in our hearts forever with love!

If heaven has a dance floor, she's already claimed it!

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
