Wanda Gunter Obituary
She was born on August 8, 1955, in Houston, Texas to Carl Cary and Dorothy Thompson.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Carolyn Flickinger (Rich), her son Mark Oakley (Marla), her sister Delania Siegal (Sandy); grandchildren, Sara Pedersen, Grace Oakley, Ace Oakley, and Sadie Flickinger.
Wanda is preceded in death by her father Carl E. Cary, mother Dorothy Thompson, and brother Edward Lionel Cary and brother Steven Wayne Cary.
Wanda loved the Lord and enjoyed painting, the beach, sewing, crafts, the outdoors, and being her own handyman.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, with the funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
