Duane Bauerle

Duane Bauerle, 84, of Harvey died Friday, February 3, 2023 at the St. Aloisius Hospital of Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the Assembly of God Church of Harvey on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
Duane was born on October 22, 1938 in Cando, North Dakota. He was the son of Richard and Myrtle (Johnson) Bauerle. Duane grew up and attended school in Churches Ferry. Following graduating from Churches Ferry high school he attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton for diesel mechanics. Duane was once married to Janiece Overland. Three children were born to this union, Kerry, Lisa, and Tawni. They lived and farmed in the Churches Ferry area. He purchased Peaceful Valley north of Harvey in 1977 where he held Christian Kids Camps for years. He was once married to Amy Roder. They had one daughter, Maria Jay Bauerle. Duane continued to live at Peaceful Valley where he farmed and raised livestock with his son Kerry. Duane enjoyed going to auction sales where he purchased tractors and cars. He used his mechanic skills to repair the tractors and cars for resale. Duane enjoyed sharing his Faith in Jesus with others. Duane was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Harvey.
Duane is survived by his son, Kerry (Jackie) Bauerle of Harvey, daughters, Lisa Supan of Pahoa, Hawaii and Tawni (Rob) Irvine of Pahoa, Hawaii; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Janice Sowatzki, Fargo. Duane was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Maria Jay Bosch; brother, John Bauerle; sister, Sharon Bauerle.
