Duane S. Elliott, of Cheyenne, WY, passed away on November 19, 2025. He was born on February 22, 1955, in Patuxent River, Maryland to Richard and Ruth Elliott.
Duane attended First Colonial High School and graduated in class of 1973. He later went on to obtain an associate’s degree in pharmacy from Laramie County Community College. Duane then began his career in the United States Air Force as a Pharmaceutical Technician. He retired after 26 years in the Air Force. Duane was extremely proud to be a veteran.
Duane married Rhonda on December 6, 1976, and had 3 daughters, Kathy, Kristen, and Kari.
Duane was a proud member of the Elks Lodge and the Indians Committee with Cheyenne Frontier Days. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping, volunteering, and DJ'ing, and he will always be remembered for his volunteer time for more than 30 years at Cheyenne Frontier Days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge in February 2026, Date and time to be announced at later date.
The family would also like to thank everyone at the VA Medical Center for the compassionate and wonderful care they provided Duane.
Duane is preceded in death by Richard Elliott, Ruth Elliott, and Mathew Lowman.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Elliott; his 3 children; and siblings, James Elliott, Joyce Lowman, and Mark Elliott.
